Career and Professionals (CAPs) is a Christian community within Bayview Glen Church composed of singles and married couples aged 30 and above. MISSION: To be obedient to the call of Jesus in Matthew 28:19 to “GO MAKE DISCIPLES”. In doing so, we are engaged in 4 primary activities and encourage you to actively participate in all 4: BIBLE STUDY – Small Group Bible Studies Contact: Thanos Kiriakidis at (416)466-2388 or Email thanos_kiriakidis@mac.com Nabil Tadros at (416)441-0553 or Email nabiltadros@sympatico.ca Every other Tuesday night (consult schedule for dates). Location: Fellowship Hall 7:30 p.m. – Worship 7:45 p.m. – Small Group Bible Studies 8:45 p.m. – Wrap-up 9:00 p.m. – Refreshments Bible study is central to CAPs. We encourage you to attend and prepare for every study so as to grow with your group and contribute to each study. Jesus doesn’t only command us to “Go Make Disciples”, He also tells us how: “teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.” At CAPs we have been doing this by going through the New Testament, equipping people with the truth of God’s Word. This year we come to the Apostle Paul’s first Prison Epistles, Ephesians and then Philippians – 2 Epistles filled with doctrinal truths and practical applications. Do you realize how blessed you are as a Christian? Paul did - even while in prison - and praises “Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that woks in us” (Eph. 3:20). Join us as we learn more about this and other wonderful truths from Paul’s powerful Epistles. PRAYER – Prayer Partner Network (PPN) Contact: Tania Tadros at 416-441-0553 or prayer@capsnews.com We encourage you to participate in this wonderful opportunity to pray with a prayer partner and nurture discipleship. To participate, we ask you to pick a prayer partner and commit to praying with that partner for at least a half-hour every 2 weeks. A prayer list will be e-mailed to you regularly. FELLOWSHIP - Socials Once a month (usually the 3rd Saturday) we get together for fun and fellowship. Watch for our mails and announcements for more details. Once a quarter, we choose a specific project and raise funds in support of that project. |
